Program: Current tree diseases happening in NJ forests and their impact.
Speaker: Maxine Marvosa – Currently Asst. Director of Rutgers Gardens. She has a BS in Biological Sciences from the School of Environmental & Biological Sciences, Rutgers Univ., a Masters in Wildlife & Fisheries Resources, Clemson Univ. and is pursuing a PhD at SEBS in the Ecology & Evolution Dept. studying the endophytes in trees, looking for their potential for disease resistance. She is a NJ Licensed Tree Expert and ISA Certified Arborist with a tree risk certification and holds various other certifications as well. She is currently on the NJ Arborist ISA Board.
