A candidate for active membership shall attend three general meetings within a six month period. Upon a majority approval of those present of the Governing Board, the applicant shall be deemed an Active Member of the Club and shall pay dues for a full year, or 1/2 year if it is later than six months into the Club’s fiscal year. A new member will be presented with the Yearbook and Bylaws by the Membership Chairperson. Active members shall participate in furthering the objectives of any branch of the Club.
Every active member of the Club is required to attend meetings; to accept responsibility for chairing committees; to serve on at least two committees; to support all Club activities; to prepare refreshments for a regular meeting; to participate in Flower Design, as assigned, and Ways and Means projects; and to remain current in dues.
